About Dr. MacGillivray

Dr. MacGillivray is a double board-certified Dermatologist with accreditation in both Canada and the United States.

Dr. MacGillivray completed her dermatology training at the University of Alberta where she served as co-chief resident. During her training she completed specialized rotations in Tropical Medicine (Toronto), Hair and Nail diseases (Miami), Skin of Colour (Dallas), and Melanoma Multidisciplinary Management (Edmonton). Before relocating to Barrie, ON she practiced at the Western Canadian Dermatology Institute, which had a strong focus on the treatment of skin cancer.

She relocated to Barrie, Ontario in 2021 and founded FullCircleDerm. The clinic name reflects a commitment to caring for the whole person and a belief in reciprocity—that compassion, when offered generously, returns many times over.

When she’s not helping patients, you’ll find her on the local hiking trails with her family. And yes, she confesses, she’s a bit of a foodie and enjoys meeting friends at Barrie’s awesome restaurants and cafes.

Dr. McCann

Dr. McCann, MD, CCFP, PGDip (Derm) is a family physician with a special focus in dermatology. She completed her Family Medicine training at Queen’s University in 2013 and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in Wales in 2016, along with additional training in dermoscopy. With over 12 years of clinical experience, Dr. McCann maintains a full-service family practice in Midland and is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents through NOSM University and the University of Toronto. She also works as a surgical assist at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland and has a special interest in the management of acne and other common dermatologic conditions, providing professional, patient-centered care.


Bill - Office Manager

Bill is the behind-the-scenes force who keeps our in-person clinic running smoothly. He expertly manages the operational details that keep everything organized on the back end, while also ensuring the clinic is fully stocked with supplies and our curated selection of exceptional skincare products. His reliability and attention to detail help create a seamless experience for both patients and the team.

Yvonne - Medical Office Assistant

Yvonne is our medical office assistant extraordinaire and a vital member of the FullCircleDerm team. She expertly coordinates appointments across multiple formats and locations, keeping everything running seamlessly. Known for her dedication and genuine care for patients, Yvonne goes above and beyond to ensure every person feels welcomed, supported, and well looked after.

Cheryl - Registered Practical Nurse

Cheryl is a Registered Practical Nurse with nearly 12 years of experience and a big passion for great skin and even better client experiences.

With a background in dermatology, plastic surgery, and surgical care, she knows how to deliver results safely while keeping things comfortable and stress-free. She works closely with Dr. Megan MacGillivray and is always learning the newest techniques in skin health and aesthetics.

Clients love Cheryl’s upbeat energy and friendly approach — and she’s especially known for providing some of the best chemical peels in the City of Barrie.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her fiancé and their young son.
